so, i'm eagerly waiting for the new atheist album and tbh, after listening to "second to sun" for a handful of times, i don't really know what to think
it's not bad, it's better than most of the stuff out there, but i don't know... it sounds a bit too modern
the guitars are way in your face and the bass has been hidden behind them - there seems to be slightly less of the atheist "groove" going on
and kelly's vocals have imo gone downhill; sounds almost nu-metalish
on the other hand it is a fairly well written song and i'm feeling kinda like a kid getting an xmas present - very eager to get my hands on it, but slightly afraid it'll be a soft package
