New Batch of Nexus 4 w/o glitter on back?

That looks better. I've always been undecided on the back.

As mine is away for repair, I might get lucky!

I've seen others reporting that this latest batch of Nexus 4s is lacking the sparkly back. I guess it's true. I'm actually glad to have the sparkly back, I think it's neat (and it's not like you notice it all the time).

Hmmmm, so I guess the one I have with the Pattern (Glitter) now becomes a collectors item. Not that I can see it anyway, been rockin it with a Diztronic TPU case.

I wouldn't call it glittery or sparkly. I prefer all black everything when it comes to mobile devices, so when I saw the first reviews of this phone I thought I was going to hate the glass back, but in my opinion it actually looks really neat and different. If I was to give the back a name I would say matrixy.

To be honest I don't care as long as they make it faster. This is a clear sign that Google has responded to the demand and expanded its manufacturing capabilities. This is nothing but good news.

Also my 1st edition Nexus4 just shot up in value. :)

Money in the bank for a collector's item!

To be honest I'm getting tired of people asking me how they can get a phone like mine and telling them it's always out of stock.

When supply meets demand on the nexus4 there is no reason it shouldn't surpass everything else on the market.

Resale value will skyrocket,.. Awesome shiny back that adds character vs plain everyday black back that'll still break?

Android central says it's a SEO scam that is using one of their pictures, with their watermark cropped out... I would link to the article, but I'm on tapatalk... In other words, I wouldn't believe the rumors, especially since in different lights you can't see the reflective patter anyways.

Oops...Upon closer inspection, my Nexus 4 *does* have glitter on the back. It's so fine and subtle I didn't notice it until the light hit it just right.

This "unglittered" back means plastic? I don't like plastic but I prefer it from glass. For some reason I am more worried of taking care of the back glass than the front (screen).

It seems like false info as the same pic is used everywere and to be honest the pattern is so subtle it would be easy enough to take a pick without the pattern.
Nough said.

It could be real but i very much doubt it and if it is real it has probably only happened with one or 2 or else there would be more than one pic showing the absence of the pattern
