new because desperate problem

Hi I am new and joined because I bought a new Lenovo A1 tablet and after a day of happily using it, I woke up to find that it seems completely dead. No lights even go on when I plug it in to recharge, even though it should be quite fully charged already. I will search for solutions from members here. I did not have the best intro to an android tablet I guess.
