Help New charger and cable. Am I quick charging?

Over the years my Droid DNA has been through multiple chargers. They would work for a couple months and then the charger would die, or the cord, or both. I finally bought a dual charger by Case Logic. One output is 1A/5V the other 2A/10V. I never used the 2A because I just didn't need to, I kept my phone plugged in all the time. Yesterday I got a slow charging warning. WTH? Checked my cord, it was starting to fray and come apart somehow at the USB connection.

So I went and bought a really nice, thick braided micro USB cable (I forgot the name already, but it was $15). A buddy recommended not to get any more thin, round cables. Either flat or braided to stop the cords from cracking and such. Well this cord will NOT charge my phone at all in the 1A outlet, doesn't even register as charging. But it WILL charge from the 2A. Odd right?

Does the Droid DNA say someplace, or is there an app, to tell me I'm "quick charging"? I know the DNA is capable of Quick Charge 1.0. Just want to see if that's what it is doing.

I timed it and with the Wi-Fi on, I can get 56% to 64% in 11 minutes, or 8% in 11 minutes (0.72%/min). I'm elated my phone is charging, but just curious if it's quick charging or not.
