samsung stratosphere: bought a new charger from amazon that is supposedly OEM. However, when I plugged it in last night, it kept beeping.

Sounds like an intermittent connection problem, could be a bad cable or bad port on your Stratosphere... Do other chargers do this? If not, it is either the wrong charger or a bad one.
