I'm an independent conference planner who has survived thus far on a basic cell phone and email. I'm looking to buy my first smartphone and am leaning toward the Samsung Galaxy Skyrocket offered by ATT. I'm hoping this community will be able to smooth my transition.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

You might want to check the availability of LTE in your area. One of the reasons I went with the SGS2 instead of the Skyrocket was that where I live, LTE won't be rolled out for at least a year and to make the Skyrocket compatible with LTE, they had to use a slower processor. In any case, it was a close call.
