Help new contact doesn't synt TO Outlook

I have my settings such that contacts sync with Outlook and the do- "one way". All my contact sync FROM Outlook to my phone. But when I create a new contact on my phone it does not sync to outlook- it never shows up.
I can't see any other setting to adjust....am I missing something?

OK so I can't spell...synt=sync! And, it should read ....sync with Outlook and "they" do-. All my contact(s)...
