New Desire HD screen issues

Hi guys,

just "upgraded" (ahem) my Desire to a DHD.

Side by side my Desire screen blows away the DHDs in terms of color.

White looks yellow and black looks grey on the DHD screen.

Is this just another amazing "feature" of the DHD or should I return the phone?

ur old desire should be having either amoled or SLCD screen while DHD has just the LCD screen...initially you will definately feel a lot of difference, but after few days it should look good

The earlier batch of Desire's came with AMOLED screen's which are as you describe super colourful and bright, however Samsung stopped supplying AMOLED screens and the later batch got SLCD Screens.

When the Desire HD came out, they have all been fitted with SLCD screens. My dad got one of the later Desire's (with SLCD) and it looks exactly like my HD

I thought I had an SLCD Desire. No mention of AMOLED on my box. Oh well.
