Hi, my name is Thomas and I own a Samsung galaxy s2, I've rooted my device following your guidelines, "THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A POWER USER OF MY DEVICE" and now I wonder if the yellow triangle will damage my device or what the flash counter will do to my phone. I also need to upgrade my firmware because I don't know if I have ICS, but my current android version is 4.0.3

The good news is that ICS is Android 4, so you do indeed have it already.
I don't know Samsung devices, so for the other questions my advice would be to ask in the Samsung Galaxy S2 "All Things Root" subforum. I would provide a link, but there are several S2 versions, each with their own forum, and I don't know which version you have. But you can find them all in the Android Phones section of the forum.
