Help New Gmail app lagging

Nope. Mine is still as snappy as ever.

How many days do you have it syncing your inbox? Do you have a lot of mail in there?
 
Maybe try clearing all data/cache that gmail is using.
Goto your phone's settings -> applications -> manage applications.. find gmail and click clear cache and clear data.. its worth a shot.. you'll have to resync your inbox but that takes all of 10 seconds.

Didn't think of that. Will do. I never really used the Gmail App before. I used the AOSP Mail App with Gmail setup as Exchange Server. But since the update I decided to give it a whirl. I like the ability to change from Reply to Reply All while writing the email.
 
Mine doesn't lag. Very snappy and very happy that now I can FINALLY send email from different accounts that are linked with it.
