New Gmail App loses custom notification sound

I received an email thru gmail and the notification was my default Android notification instead of the one I had set up for that gmail account. When I went to open the email, a notice of new gmail features popped up. Apparently a new version was pushed to my phone which removes the ability to change the notification sound in gmail now. Boo. The version that I am running is now: 2.3.5.2

Anyone else experience this?

Open gmail -> settings -> choose account -> labels to notify -> then you can select the notification for each label

I only set my inbox notification since everything goes there and then I move it if needed.

Ah, thanks. That's annoying that the new version wiped out my settings, especially the vibrations being turned off.
