New Google Play Store - Cant Turn Off Auto-Update

Hi all,

Since my N7 updated to the new Google Play store I cant stop the device from auto-updating apps. I have 'unchecked' the option in the app but still, every morning, Im presented with a bunch of recent updates that have installed on my device. Its annoying as I dont want to be constantly updating apps.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Thanks

Yeah same thing happens to me on my note 2. I will turn off my phone and then the apps will start updating once my phone turns on

I figured it out. My ignorance combined with a poor UI. When I went into 'settings' for Google Play, I saw a bunch of various settings with checkmarks next to them. I noticed that 'Auto-Update' was unchecked so I assumed I as good. On closer inspection, Auto-Update is NOT controlled by a checkmark, you have to actually click on it and change a radio button option on page 2.

My dumb mistake but I think a dumb UI too. Who expects a non-checkmark item in a list of checkmarks? :)
