I'm new. Have a ZTE score and I joined the site to learn more about rooting. Anyone who could point me somewhere for help I would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much I understand what rooting is, but how would I go about restoring my phone if I needed to have it repaired or something of the like?

You're welcome! I'm not really sure how to restore a rooted device, but you could check in your devices All Things Root section as to how to go about that.
