Well, I'm new here, so I guess I'll say hi: Hi! 
Anyway, just went from an Env Touch (with an Env 2 for a week between) to the LG Ally. Wow. That's all I can say. Android powered phones are completely awesome.
Anyway, I just can't leave stuff alone, I love to know how stuff works, and I'm willing to take a little risk, and I have plans to root and then flash Velocity v0.3 on there. Not really necessary, but it's suppose to be faster, which is always nice.
Anyway, what I really do want is tethering, at a minimum, WiFi would be much better, and this is simple after rooting.
So, can someone point me in the right direction for learning about Android, rooting, ect?
