Hello and welcome to Android Forums. You will want to stop inside your device's area of support, for some awesome tips & tricks, info, and hints on your device. You will want to check in to the forum for your specific device model. Choose your device model from the list here and join your device's area of support - where you'll find the other users of the same device love to hang out... and will be the best place to get device specific help.
As far as to add smileys/emotions to your outgoing messages, you can do that using your device features. On most device - when you open the message app, choose the person you wish to send the msg to, tap menu, then more and insert smiley. Hopefully your device is the same way.
If you need any further assistance, feel free to give one of us Guides a shout!
