I have not been able to get a clear answer on this yet. Will I be able to plug my phone into my TV and watch netflix on my TV via the HDMI dongle with the netflix app? Or do I have to settle for watching them on my phone like my old POS iphone? I would like to be able to watch them over a TV like i do with my PS3 downstairs.
 
Yes according to the reviews ive read you should be able to hook it up via HDMI and see whats on your phone on your TV
 
Well I wasnt sure, because Ive read people trying to watch movies on mediahub, and the TV gives them an error message. If I am able to do this, I want to buy this phone. I want to be able to watch netflix from 2 different tvs without moving my ps3 back and forth.
 
There is no HDMI or Micros HDMI port on the phone, but you can purchase an MHL Adapter which connects to the Hdmi on the TV and the micro USB on your phone ( you also need to connect your charger to the MHL Adapter but it also charges the phone). I'm in Canada, and apparently we don't have many televisions which work with the MHL adapter yet, but it will be more common in the future apparently.

Otherwise, there is no way to hook it up to the TV as far as I know, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

There is no HDMI port, no, but the phone comes with a dongle micro USB to HDMI cord. It's in the box. So my interpretation is that it's meant to be watched that way... I bought this phone a month or so ago and LOVE it. I have yet to hack away at it, but I'll get there!
