Hi

My name is Piotr and I live in UK . I'm originally from Poland. I have HTC WIldfire and I think I should get HTC Desire because I cannot stand how slow it is :D Although except that I love absolutely everything about android system, as previously I had Nokia E63 with symbian and it worked much faster but it wasn't as much fun.

Baically I just wanted to say hello and join community to get some knowledge and advice.

I think you might want to look a little further than the Desire. While the Desire is a very nice phone, in terms of specifications it is not much faster then the Wildfire. Good luck in your search.
 
So what would you actually recommend from android phones in similar to desire price range?

Because my wildfire is so awfully slow that even skype is breaking up, that never happened on my Symbian system. I'm going to get custom rom as soon as I read enough about it and will check then but it sounds silly that Symbian on prehistoric nokia E63 works just fine while it's temperamental on HTC device!
 
I am not in the UK so I don't know what would be available to you or the price ranges. You should ask that question in Android Lounge - Android Forums and see if any of our UK savvy members can help you out. If Skype is an essential feature, be sure to mention that.
