New LG

There will always be better things to come the world is just in a fast paced change after I got my esteem I thought that I was set for a couple of years big mistake having a single core and not a lot of ram let me to realize that an s3 will be a perfect phone for a couple of years all the pluses are there the big screen the super amoled screen those things will make me happy all the 6 core thing will just be there as long I'm able to do the essentials things and having the specs the s3 I'm happy

they thinking about have a 6 core phone thin as a credit card and with a led display with 1080p and a hologram laser projector. Also prints out $5 bills

Haha and some might pass cause they will wait for one to print? 10 instead lol

I kinda like what Samsung does, one flagship a year that other manufacturers try to overpower. They also drive competition between them as well.

There's always gonna be a better phone right around the corner.

I see myself sticking with the s3 for 2 years not because no phone will be better in that time but because no phone will be so much better to warrant an upgrade. It will be like the connect to the esteem. A better phone but only slightly.

I don't have enough money to keep up with how fast technology is upgrading itself. I gotta find a place to settle for a while.

Personally I'd hold out for something that prints 20's.

Ever see the looks you get when you try to pay for something expensive in 5's or 10's? :D

Exactly I purchase my optimus for
$229 not even a year later got my esteem luckily for $250 after mir now it looks like my esteem will barely make it to a year now spending about $500 for the s3 that's $1000 in 2 years

True enough. Call me crazy but at this point I doubt I'll buy the s3. I think I'll hold on to the motion for quite some time. It does everything I could need it to do, sans an awesome screen.

Meh.. who am I kidding. I'm an android junkie. In just a year I've bought a galaxy indulge, Samsung admire (just to play with), galaxy attain, lg esteem, lg connect and now the lg motion. I can't help it. Every time something better comes out (even if only marginally better) I get the itch like a crack head and go buy it. My wife makes out like bandit. Every time I get something new she gets the last one I bought, except this time because I already had bought her a connect. Now she wants motion lol.

What good does all this money do me if i don't spend it on the shit that I enjoy. Same goes for tablets and computer equipment. Game consoles and every gadget in between.

Geez.. even reading my words makes me realize how bad my addiction is with technology. I still haven't stooped so low to buy apple products lol. Not since my old iBook g4. Stupid PowerPC.

Yeah this is the phone that got me less excited about the arrival of the gs3 to metro. Because by the time the gs3 drop what if this one isn't too far behind?

There is another phone by Fujitsu called the arrows that I would like to see come to metro.

Bingo! Common Sense Post of the Year!

Even if no other greater model had been announced, you know that something(s) greater always in the pipeline....

so spending tons on the latest greatest can leave one feeling unsatisfied almost immediately after walking out of the store with the purchased item...

and spending so much on a phone, when you can get 2-3 tablets or 1 tablet + 1 lappie for the same price borders on the outrageous....

PS the only exception is if you get the latest right away...in this case, the s3: on the carrier it released initially(not on the carrier it will eventually arrive on)... that way one gets sufficient time on the best phone, then sell when the next improved one comes out.
Otherwise, you spend a lot and some troll comes along--"man, you spent big bucks on your phone...and it's not as good as mine..."

Sadly this is me. Lol. I have pile of android phones on my desk. I also have a few tablets; transformer prime, Acer a100, nook color, kindle fire and a pair of nexus 7's (an 8 and a 16 gig).

Its not a matter of always having the best, I don't really care about that. I just can't help myself. Something new comes out an I just feel like I have to have it lol.

It may be a waste of money in some people's eyes, but not to me. I could spend that money on other things, but I spend it on what's most rewarding to me. I don't have a shortage of money, but I'm a penny pincher all the same, except when it comes to gadgets lol.

You sir, are in separate category, can do as you wish, "are getting sufficient enjoyment from your multiple devices"....all the best to you.

It's the poor homie with only one phone, splurges and doesn't even get full enjoyment for too long...meanwhile suffering needlessly elsewhere, as he likely didn't update his portable in order to have the phone...

i didnt have a gameboy till i was 16 lol

I got my first cell phone and service with att when I was 18. Had it for a year, it sucked, and wouldn't get another cell phone until almost a decade later. I got the cheapest thing metro had which was the Domino because I had to have a cell phone for my job. I had a government phone at first but it didn't provide enough minutes.

I moved up to the freeform 2, and then the freeform 3 after a year. After maybe a few months of that I took the plunge and upgraded my plan and got my first smartphone with the connect.

I used to be deep into the consumerist mentality but that was mostly when I was younger and my parents bought me everything. Nowadays I spend my money mostly on things I need like car repairs. I put lot of money into my car this year for needed repairs.
