New line, switch phones.

I want to add a line and get a smartphone but then use the phone on one of my current lines and use a regular phone on the new line with normal phone pricing. I was able to do this with Verizon. Is it possible on at&t?

Probably....but AT&T is pretty good at detecting any "switches" to phones and plans. Go to your local store and see what a knowledgable rep tells you.

I think it can be done, but you're better off to do it at an ATT store with a rep who knows what they are doing, and knows what you are trying to do.
