[NEW] Live Wallpapers I have created

I thought I'd share the live wallpapers I have created with the theming crowd, maybe you may like some of them. So far I have done some abstract effects, but in time I will probably branch out to things more artistic and get more use out of my drawing tablet.

1. Plasmatic Live Wallpaper

This is a rendition of the oldschool plasma effect from the commodore Amiga days. Lots of user controllable settings let you really customize how this one looks. Get The Free Version!

2. Color Puddle Live Wallpaper

This one is a water ripple effect, you can adjust everything from the center position, color, density and reflectiveness of ripples. Get The Free Version!

3. Warp Rings Live Wallpaper

Warp Rings is a rendition of an oldschool demoscene effect called "moire rings" you can control everything from the color, scale, motion and rotation of the effect, it can go from looking very tame, to something that will make you require motion sickness pills. Get The Free Version!

These next two require a newer phone for the highest resolutions, but I am very pleased with the way the effects turned out.

4. NRG Beams Live Wallpaper

This one is an intense simulation of electrical energy, you have full control over 3 beams of light moving across your screen, the speed, warp of the beam, thickness, and color can all be individually controlled. For the mathematically inclined this is done using "perlin noise" I was rather pleased with how it came out.

5.M-Fractal Live Wallpaper

My most recent experiment resulted in this. I have always loved fractals, but after some searching on the play store I didn't find anything that did what I wanted. to me fractals are always at their most interesting when in motion. I created this to answer that need, this effect allows you to choose a target within the mandelbrot fractal set and it zooms, realtime at a decent framerate and speed. you can control the color, zoom depth, rotation of the effect, even cycle through the 40 available targets (80 in the pay version) automatically. It really is amazing how different this fractal set looks in various locations. Get The Free Version!

Thats what I have done so far, hope you guys get some enjoyment out of these. Not a bad first month of developing stuff.

you know thats not a half bad idea at all, I have been looking for an excuse to do something less math oriented and flex my drawing muscles a bit, I have a really great flexable animation system, so watch for it soon. I quite like drawing cartoons. I have 2 effects I am nearly done once they are out perhaps its time to do some drawing..

once I am done the mega julia fractal effect

Looking forward to it and since you're thinking of making cartoonish wallpapers may I suggest a wallpaper with a skull just like your avatar but with a dark background? I think that will look pretty swell.

There will definitely be both cartoon/cute wallpapers, and more dark/fantasy/horror themed ones as I personally am a huge fan of such things, I appreciate the suggestions

A Little preview of the newest thing I am playing with, a radial sprite plotter. it will take me a while to draw all the different options for sprites, but persuant to the suggestions from this forum post there will be both cute & creepy things.

In other news one of the effects in this post NRG Beams has crossed the 1000 install mark, so thanks to anyone here for your support! I appreciate it.

my wife said the same thing about the red. it will be interesting, in order to avoid texture issues I have to make the dimensions a power of 2, which means I will have a whole lot of tiles for sprites available.. thanks for the vote of confidence I will stick at it
