Hi. I just joined because I am not good with my phones and just got the s3. All of a sudden my phone began notifying me verbally of new text messages. I went through everything on settings and couldn't figure out how to turn this annoying notification off.
I googled it and found your forum. Just reading through the replies which included advice about going to the notifications pull down bar, I went back to my phone and saw that my "driver mode" was on. I was so excited to be able to turn this sound off!!
I appreciated so much being able to read your forum and questions that I felt I would benefit greatly just to be able to read your questions and answers. Thank you so much! My questions may appear terribly simplistic to you all but I truly will need your help.
