Hi Everyone,
Glad to have found this site--a lot of very useful information!!

Anyway, I just received my new to me (purchased used) Razr Maxx HD phone yesterday and will be setting it up once I transfer service and data from my Thunderbolt. I'm on a grandfathered unlimited plan from V and do not want to lose it or pay the high $$ monthly access plan just for the couple of times a month I'll need mobile wifi on my tablet--thus the unsubsidized lightly used phone..... I did do a little playing around with the phone after topping off the battery and am very impressed, to say the least.

I'm currently researching how best to go about tethering my Asus TF700T to my phone without rooting or getting an unexpected bill from Big Red. I plan to stick with ICS if that makes any difference.

I'm sure I will have more Qs in the future. Thanks for providing this site--I'm looking forward to learning a lot here.

Glad you have found our site useful, and you're enjoying your phone. As far as tethering goes, there are a few apps out there that will do that. I personally like PDAnet/FoxFI. Give it a try in the market with the free trial version. Hope this helps.
