New message when installing apps

Recently, I started getting a pop-up message when I install apps.
I don't know what caused this issue. My guess would be a Google update. When I install an app, I started getting a pop-up from Google. It asks for permission for Google to regularly check my phone for security problems. (See below) I am very hesitant to say yes. Any thoughts about this or information would be appreciated.

It is ok, Skynet er I mean Google reads your email, looks at your pics, sees what videos you watch, knows what you buy, knows where you live, knows your wifi password, and more. Give in markdoc. You have been assimilated.

That's what worried me. I've already had the Borg, I mean Google delete my unfavorable reviews of their app. But I don't believe that resistance is futile.
