I haven't spent this much on a phone in quite a while, more than a hundred bucks. Overall it's pretty good. It does charge fast but it seems to drain a bit quickly, and sometimes it gets almost hot even though it's not being used for games or anything that way. About the most strenuous thing I've put it through is making a video or charging. Any suggestions (reasonable) would be appreciated.

I'll be curious to follow your progress, as the Moto G Stylus seems to be the only alternative to the Samsung S Ultras. As Samsung continues to eliminate the S Pen from its flagship devices, more and more of us are feeling less and less loyalty to the brand.

I've had this phone, it's very much a workhorse but I liked it.
how good is your wifi and cellular connections? if they are bad, and they are constantly trying to connect to the phone. this could lead to getting the phone hot and also drain your battery.
