hello guys. i have been searching all over the net for my solutions but i just cant find them so i finally decided to make my first thread. i hope i dont get bashed by asking for help right away but i seriously searched for hours and cant find a solution. ok well ive had my phone for about a month. my first mistake i did was delete the facebook shortcuts from both the home screen and the "ALL Programs" screen and i have no idea how to get it back. the app is still there cause i can see it in the manage apps screen but the shortcuts are gone.

ok now my second problem. I have gotten the hang of this phone (besides my shortcut problem) so i decided to do a hard reset so that i can organize everything to the way i want it but when the reset was done, i was left with 5 pages on my home screen instead of the original 7 that i had before.

can you guys tell me or guide me on how to solve these problems? you help will be very appreciated and thanks in advance for the help i receive

Well, it's not really possible to delete shortcuts from the all program screen. if they aren't on the menu for all programs, they are uninstalled. if for some reason they are installed, but arent showing up, just go to the manage applications settings and uninstall them, then go reinstall whatever isn't working from the app store.

As for the screens, just go to settings-personalization, and it should be the first option to increase to 7 screens.

haha no it doesnt and yeah i got the first problem set :o but i still cant get the second one. maybe im explaining it wrong so ill attach a picture. its my facebook short cut. i was trying to delete a different shortcut anccidentally deleted the FB one. the app is still on my phone since thats how it came factory so i cant uninstall it. its the facebook for mytouch app

"Facebook for mytouch" is the factory installed facebook client. The official "facebook" app must be downloaded and installed from the market. Facebook for mytouch is not accessed directly through a shortcut (though it does show up in manage applications menu). To use facebook for mytouch launch the "friend stream" app as it is both "htc peep" (htc twitter client) and "facebook for mytouch" (htc facebook client) steamed together through one app. If the shortcut you had was the facebook logo then it was the official facebook app and would have been deleted on reset. If this is the case just redownload it from the market. If not then the shortcut you want is "friend stream."
