I'd heard about rooting cell phones. Thought about trying it but I don't own anything but MacOS computers. No iPhones or ipads. My latest phone is a refurbished Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE on a service that buys 3G bandwidth from Verizon. My first 2 cell phones had so little internal memory that they would reboot at odd times. The HTC I bought on ebay is a great phone compared to anything I've had so far. I thought I'd root the other 2 phones to see If I want to take the plunge and root my main phone.
I'll eventually find a cheap Windows PC and experiment. Didn't get a cell phone until late last year. I was OK with a land line for a long time-I rarely travel and no one is trying to get in touch with me.
