I apologize if this is one of those things where it'll fix itself in 24 hours, but I'm being very anxious about it and checking for updates too often.
Here's the situation. Brand new (from Google Play) unlocked Nexus 6 phone. Arrived yesterday afternoon and said that 5.0.1 was available. I figured that it needed to update to that before going to 5.1.1, so I did and proceeded to update it as well as every other Google app (all 18 of them).
Now, nearly a day later and it still thinks 5.0.1 is the latest version. I'm DYING to get 5.1.1 as I'm sure there are a number of important battery fixes.
Will this fix itself or is there anything I can do (other than rooting) to get it to "see" the update. Again, this was ordered directly from Google, so I can't see any legitimate reason why it would think this is the case.
Is this common? Any ideas?
