hello everyone! how is everybody? i am new to these forums but i have been checking this site frequently because im learning how to root my phone (dont wanna risk bricking it....) so i hope i can gain some knowledge and some past user experiences from everybody about this thanks for reading :D (btw the phone i have is samsung admire metro pcs im interested in getting cyanogenmod 7 for my phone since i heard 7 is most compatible for ginger bread devices)
 
Hi Haseo and welcome to the forums! :D

Rooting your phone (generally) isn't really hard, but it's still a little nerve-racking even for veterans. But it's the best way to enjoy everything that Android has to offer. Good luck and remember to ask questions about the process BEFORE doing anything.

AND: Once rooted and before flashing CM or any other ROM, remember to make a nandroid backup! Backup, backup, backup!
