New Note2 user

Hello all,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I've been a happy Galaxy S2 user for two years, and last week I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 2. I chose the Note 2 over the S4 because of the better battery, the larger screen, and of course the S-pen, which I think is an awesome accessory.

So far, I'm very happy with the Note 2. I think it's still the best smartphone out there. The screen is just awesome, the battery easily lasts all day, and the camera takes great pictures.

I did root it already, to get rid of some inevitable bloatware that always comes with a new device. But the ROM is still stock, just "debloated" :-)

Hope to contribute to this great forum as much as I can.

Welcome. :) I've had my Note 2 since February, and it is by far, the best phone I've ever owned, and I've had to carry one of these pesky things since 1993.... The more you use it, the more you will wonder what you did without it.

It's a beautiful thing... :)

Welcome the the Note 2 club, I too went from the S2 to the Note 2, a great upgrade!
This phone is trully awesome and im sure you will love it, there is alot to keep you busy, just be careful at work though, my boss scowls at me because I can't put the damn thing down, this after I've had it since October lol.
 
LOL!!! I also cant put mine down. Normally by now I would have become bored to tears with my phone; this onehas been a whole new differet experience.
 
I got my note 2 international version in November last year. Still can't seem to put down my phone. I discover so many new things everyday.
A month after I got my phone my son flung my phone on the ground in a fit of tantrum and shattered the screen. That was the saddest day of my life. Got it changed from Samsung Service center after paying around Rs. 8000 (~$150).
After changing the screen I started having some problems like s pen acting weird, burn in. Went to another Samsung service center after unrooting my phone using triangle away by chainfire. They replaced a new screen again and now all is well again.
My wife is really pissed with me dire to the attention this phone is receiving from me. Overall is the best phone you can get as of now.
