new notification screen

Just rec'd the new release... first things I discovered:

A. New notification screen... dont care for it

B. Samsung WatchOn is now embeded and always `on`.... cant figure out how to turn it off until I want to use it... any ideas?

Not sure what else has changed since there is little info on release....

Any other observations?
 
What do you mean by "always on"? Always showing in RAM? That doesn't mean that it's running, it may mean that something else that's always running needs a process located in WatchOn.

If it's always showing in Recent Apps, that doesn't mean anything. It could be run during boot for one of the processes in it, then killed. It would still be "recent".

I was not clear

The WatchOn icon is now always embedded in the top left hand corner of the notification bar.

I can force the app to stop, but then it starts on its own again in about 10 seconds

Anytime I pull down the notification screen, it is shown.... annoying... dont want to see it unless I start the app...
 
To fix the watchon icon. Go into the app and then settings and under "room settings" you disable the icon in the notification panel.
