Help New phone losing data/sms connection after 15hrs, restart fixes it

picked up a new LG f6 from metro. Phone works great except after 12+ hrs it loses its data connection and I cant send or receive texts, and the lock screen that normally says "MetroPCS" says something like "Service"

as soon as I restart the phone the data connection comes right back up and everything works great.

can anyone save me a trip to the metro store, maybe there are some settings I can change to fix this

I would look under settings -> tethering and networks -> mobile networks and set it to metropcs only under there instead of automatic. Worked on my old lg connect that kept losing 4g because it was picking up a different tower because that signal was stronger.

I think on this one you go under networks and search for networks and pick metro LTE

If you leave your service area you may have to swap it back I'm not sure. I haven't had to play with it on this phone. Just throwing a suggestion out there. Maybe someone with experience with the same issue will come along and give you better advice
