New phone now what

My friend got me one of those free government phones. I can figure out most of it easily but I cant find where the SD card goes. It's supposed to take up to 256 gb. The phone is a Sense TW102 or something that way.

sense? that sounds like a htc phone, yes?

Sounds like the whole back cover should come off. The card slot is under it, inside the phone

Assembling Back Cover
Locate the notch on bottom left corner of the back of the phone. Insert fingernail and lift upward to remove back cover.
Assembling MicroSD Card (if applicable)
Remove back cover. The microSD card slot is located above left corner of battery.

HTC has been dead for years I think. I haven't seen any new ones after the U-series flopped hard, and they didn't really run Sense the way I recall. They ran some light-skin but looked nothing like Sense.

Because other than Pixel, that's all that's left. Lack of variety and lack of competition really sucks.
