New phone, same apps

Just bought a new Phone today (Moto Bionic) and removed everything from my old phone (HTC Thunderbolt) (same sim card, SD card). All apps were hand deleted from Play Store, then I nuked the phone. I then set up my new phone. I had quite a selection of paid games, and on the new device it's saying I must pay AGAIN. Is it just me or is there something that must be done to get Play Store (same account) to pull it's head out of it's ass? I paid for the games, it acknowledges that they're uninstalled from the old device, what do I have to do in order to get it to install to the new device?

That's a Play Store error. I had the same thing happen when I wiped my Xoom. It self corrected after a little while though. You do not have to pay again.

Didn't "self-correct", per-se. But I went to re-buy & install a game I was enjoying and when it normally would've told me to insert credit card info, it said purchase complete. I checked my bank info online and there was no market purchase. It must be a glitch where it shows the price still, and not "paid". All apps installed without a hitch after that, tho.
