Help New phone so a few questions if I may

Hi all.

I've just purchased a galaxy ace it's on o2 it has android 2.3.3 gingerbread.xwkpl looking on this forum a few have 2.3.5 I've tried the over air software and it says no update available is 2.3.5 not out yet for o2?

I only have a 2gb sd card so I'm going to buy a bigger one tomorrow hopefully and then root it following the guide in the all things root section so I can install to sd card. Whats the best app to install once the phone has been rooted to get the apps moved to the sd card? Is there an app thats moves them auto or will i have to move each app once downloaded?

If I root will it stop me from getting firmware updates?

I can only answer part of that . . I've had my ace a couple of weeks, and I've not rooted it. . . Turns out, lotsa apps allow you to instal on the sd card anyway. . . And there seemed no point losing the guarantee until I reach the point that internal storage is full. . . I'm running 2.3.3 and it's fine. . .

After a recommendation on here I tried link2SD (free from the Market) and found it worked really well for me - so you could do worst than give that one a go.
