Root new phone(VM670ZV5) = cant instal customize rom?

my friend brought a new V phone with SW version VM670ZV5 (use to be VM670V4) couldn't install any customized rom. whenever flashed a new rom, including old stock ROM, would freeze after the LG logo. anyone tried to install a new rom under the new SW version phone?

PS, seems only Xionia work for this phone

What is "SW" version? Not entirely sure what that means.

He is referring to the baseband . You have a new V with the optimus S screen and drivers. Go to this link and it should fix you problem.
