New phone.....

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find it. I just got a new android phone, and I want all the apps from my old phone on my new phone without having to install each one..... does anyone know how to do this?

thanks for your help :)

If you got the apps from Google Play, just log on and select My Apps. If I remember right, it’ll give you an option to reload them. If I’m wrong, I’m sorry and someone slap me.

Yes, but afaik you need to approve and confirm each and every app to re-download separately. That's a PITA if you (would) have 300 apps to reinstall (like me).
What the OP is looking for, if I understand correctly, is a 'batch re-install' m.o.: easy setup/UI, one GO button, one confirmation button, and the whole shebang comes down to reinstall itself neatly on the new device with the old Google account (do you realize that sounds horribly like Apple, Micro$oft, IBM, e.a.?).
Obviously, with hundreds of apps you will want to do that overnight, on charger, and on fast WiFi!

Yeah, I can see many – me included – needing that app too! Wonder if there is such a beast.

You got it Quessed, could not have put it better myself!
Many devices ago I used Appbrain to install, search, and manage my apps.... before the Play store was as functional as it is now, and for some reason I thought an account on there would do that, not sure if it would cross over to a new device though, may just have been there for restoring a broken or lost phone.

Now that I am thinking about this more, I like your idea of a "GO button", not just for this, but for any other aspect of life.... in a car would mean I can nap on the way to work, and have a beer on the way home :)

The paid version of Titanium Backup will restore all of your apps at once. The latest version will even create an update.zip file to install them all from recovery.

It does indeed. But to the OP, why is it such a hassle to do this for a new phone? Every week if you were changing ROMs I can understand, but just the once?
