New Poke Spawns?

So I usually leave my phone on at work with the app running cause there are 9 pokestops within 100 yards of my work and pokemon pop up all day. Usually just get a lot of Manky's, Venonats, Geodudes and sandshrew's. Today however there is a plithera of Oddish and Charmanders. So I am wondering if the poke spawns will rotate or update every so often so areas get different pokemon. Was wondering if anyone else had also noticed this at places they frequent.

I dunno but a rotation of some sort would be nice, though I think it might void the point of the game heh.
