Apps New Programmer, looking for help at times

Hello, I'm new to programming and I am wondering if this is the right place for me to be. Firstly I am learning C++, and so I've heard that Android is not C++ made. Still, I don't intend to be a Android developer, but do want to learn C++, is this the right part of the forums for me?

Some Android devs are C++ devs too (not me though). You can certainly run C++ on Android. But I would suspect you'd find more help in the computers and IT forum section.

cplusplus.com is a great resource for C++ stuff. It's got tutorials, a forum, and other nice tools
