New renders show off the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact

Though when I visit other phone sites I'm amazed how many people are posting "too thick", as if they don't realise:

1) it's the same thickness as previous Sony Compacts (Sony are very conservative with their designs).

2) a smaller phone looks thicker than a larger one when you only look at proportions and have nothing to compare against

3) if you reduce the length and width of the phone the volume goes down, but internal components don't magically get smaller. So if you make it thin as well then the battery has to shrink.

4) big phones need to be thin to make them manageable. That's less important with small ones.

I guess there are a lot of clueless people out there...
