Root New root. Any tips?

So I rooted my S3 to get rid of that damn knox and other bloatware. Titanium did it nice and easy and i'm very happy.

Does anyone have any tips or hints on any apps or anything futher now i'm rooted. I am a total total newb so literally just running rooted stock rom. Terrified of bricking the thing. lol.

I've heard greenify is worth getting? What about these battery booster root apps? Any good? Would really appreciate any tips from more experienced users. I've heard good things about Cyanogenmod or is that too complicated for a novice?

Edit: I'm not concerned about updating to 4.4 since EE in the UK take forever and a day to get new firmware i'll have upgraded by the time they get to it. More focused on getting the best experience on 4.3

Stock rooted rom is fine, but you should be safe flashing custom roms as long as you backup the phone in the recovery first. You do have a custom recovery right?

Liquid smooth is a really good rom. Cyanogenmod has been my long time favorite across devices but LS has a few things I really like. Some things may not work right on these roms but they are still being updated.

Need root for this phone a good safe root samsung galaxy s3 4.3 basebandt999luvubnf4 any help would be appreciated thanks:(

Kingo done it for me- rooted it straight away. Did a nandroid backup with TWRP (get the latest version) and put Omnirom v5 Kitkat 4.4.4 on the phone. Very pleased with it all. It took me ages to screw up the courage to do the backup and flash the rom, but got there in the end. Don't forget to make sure you backup your EFS file.

Hope this helps
