New Samsung Galaxy Ace User

Hi everybody, well i got a New Cell Yesterday, as the Title States, its the Galaxy Ace. My Question to u good people is... Is there a way to actually use the darn thing, other than, always having to swipe open the Lock before i use it lol?? It seems that i can only Activate the Phone after i drag open the Lock on the screen..So can i Remove this Feature ?

Hope somebody can help me out here. Thanks in Advance..

Sure there is... but you have to root your phone and get a modification to do away with the swipe lock. The swipe lock is there to protect you from making "butt-call". (Calls which happen in your pocket unawares. I get plenty of them even when the phone does have a lock. :)

Welcome aboard. Trust me, you really don't wanna do that (bad idea). This is a preventive method of not just making random (unknown calls), but also to avoid opening up applications and other stuff.

Here's a link to your device's area of support http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-ace/_ you'll be able to find some cool information, get hints, and find tips on how to better use your phone. As well as interact with other users of the same device.

Note: Rooting voids your phone warranty and "could" also cause unknown problems.
