I recently was given a new Sim card by my carrier and I see that on the card that came with the Sim it says back in action whereas on the card that came with the phone it had my mobile number, so now under Settings - About Phone - Status - My Phone Number....it has the word Unknown instead of my number.
Is there anyway of restoring my mobile number on this section.
I must say that when I make calls the correct number is recorded on outgoing calls.
I did what they said by texting a number with specific text, then I take out the old Sim and replace it with the new one.
