I have a brand new LG ally that came preinstalled with a bunch of crappy apps I don't like, and don't want on my phone. I think its a bunch of bull$$it that verizon packages phones this way. I think they should either come with no apps installed, or make it easy to get rid of the apps you dont want.

Rather than deleting the apps please consider freezing the apps using the paid version of Titanium Backup. The advantage of freezing over deleting becomes evident if/when you try to install an OTA update from the carrier. Newer update packages will check the state of the phone before installing. If the update finds that the carrier provided apps are no longer on the phone it's very possible that the update will abort.
