some people would probably jump ship just for the ics and the triumph is still technically on 2.2.
True, but the One V will still have Sense over the ICS. Also, you can easily install a custom ROM on the Triumph.

To me, this is totally worth it for an EVO 3D. If the rumors are untrue, I will move to another network.
I do have a few questions about Straight Talk/T-Mobile though. Are these services 3G? I know along time ago, they were not 3G or only 3G up to xxMB of data. Is anyone familiar with these plans?
Well T-mo isn't happening then. They dont have pseudo 4g in my area so Im not dealing with EDGE again.
I just got a text from Virgin informing me that all new phones are subject to 'current rates' (not my $25 plan). This leads me to believe that they're about to release a bunch of new phones.
I say BS! Doesn't matter, though. That unlocked gsm Google Galaxy Nexus is looking better and better every day. That with the T-Mobile $30 plan is my next stop when I choose to move on.
What say you all? Is $399 for the Galaxy Nexus unlocked with T-Mo $30/month a good deal?
I like the idea, but right now I have my eyes on the Samsung Galaxy S3.I just got a text from Virgin informing me that all new phones are subject to 'current rates' (not my $25 plan). This leads me to believe that they're about to release a bunch of new phones.

You ain't getting that for $399.
I believe he was talking about not getting the SGS3 for $400
What I meant is that as much I like the get the Galaxy Nexus, the S3 is being announced at the Samsung Unpacked Event on May 3rd. I could get the Galaxy Nexus at 399.99 but its too soon as I wanna carry my triumph as much as I could at 25 a month but these 3G speeds does not satisfy my needs per se (I need 4G for an earn-n-reward site). But until the SGS3 becomes availible for purchase, I'll have to settle what I have. I may get the Galaxy Nexus if I cant take it, that phone is sexy ;-)I like the idea, but right now I have my eyes on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
I'm waiting on my unlocked HTC Amaze 4G. Then I'm going to Straight Talk for the $45 unlimited everything.
Welcome To Straight Talk
Virgin Mobile USA is just screwing themselves in the long run.
