:confused:does anyone know when android 2.1 will be out for the motorola droid ota? and will the new software have flash 10.1 or will it be a separate update? I work at verizon and no one has any clue and customers ask me day in and day out and i am kinda clueless. Also does anyone know an application where u can download music videos and have them play as a ringtone. i know helio had videotones back in the day it seems like there would be an application for that.:confused:

Flash 10.1 - sometime after 2.1 so nobody knows
Videotones - not that i have ever heard of
 
ya i used to sell helio phones back in early 2007 and they had the videotones.
lol ya i am totally clueless on the new software. i have even called into our technical support department at verizon and they had no idea. lol i wanna be able to watch family guy and stuff on hulu when we are dead at work.
 
videotones would have a music video clip and when you would receive a call it would play that portion of the music video and the part of the song and have the caller id at the top of the clip. i believe that helio got bought out by virgin mobile though. but the videotones was a good concept on phones with a large external screen

Pretty sure Vringo is legit.

You don't have to download it from their web portal either, it is in the market. You can check out the reviews and stuff if you want 3.5/5 stars.

I've got no interest in videotones, but for some people, it's a way to bling out their phones.
 
Ya verizon says the same thing. Ya vringo is like what I was reffering too but it was music videos instead of animated clips. I was just wondering because customers had asked about it and I remember that back in the day they had them. Someone should develope an app with music by artists people actually have heard of and seen lol
