New tab s2 user

So I just switched from the note 10.1 2014 edition and am pleased with the tablet so far. Comparing it directly to the note, the speakers are horrible, and I definitely notice the lower dpi in the screen while I'm reading text. The note 10.1 has a superior screen, and far superior speakers. The tab s2 sounds like a tin can. The colors on the screen in the tab s2 are also over saturated and don't look realistic.
That being said, it is lighter, easier to user, much thinner, snappier, and I haven't noticed much difference in battery life yet. The tab seems to do a much better job of managing apps and processor tasks. My note 10.1 wound get hot and crash quite frequently. I've had no such problem with the tab s2 so far. I don't miss the vibrating since I never really used it, and the same goes for the ir blaster and the s pen. I do wish that I could force some apps to run in 16x9 though.

I too am a new Tab S2 9.7 user. Coming from my 4 year old ASUS TF-101.
I have a lot to learn about this tablet, but I am enjoying it so far.

Lateck,

I just got a Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 today and haven't even gotten to use it yet. It's still charging. I always new the first charge takes some time, but it started at 61% and has been charging for 2+ hours now and is only at 97%. The wait is killing me.

At first I was torn between the Tab S2 and Tab A (both 9.7") when researching online, but was leaning towards the S2 due to quad core processor, better display, 3 GB RAM, and 32 or 64 GB internal. But the $150 difference between the two was making me think I wanted to go with the Tab A instead.

After getting to Best Buy and being able to hold and play with both of them, I came to the conclusion that the $150 difference was well worth it.

Very excited to start using my new Tab. I am upgrading from a Tab 2, which is on it's last leg. Even after a factory reset and install of minimal apps, none of which are games, my Tab 2 still crawls, lags, and just is not very snappy anymore.
