Why did you delete .android_secure... all the important stuff is in there. If it's not rooted, do a factory reset (should be under menu/privacy...). Angry Birds takes a while to download (unless you're on wifi). If you can log into the market, you should be able to download any apps there.

Someone posted to delete that file on another forum!!
it obviously didnt work..
I have tried to download OTHER APPS (not just angry birds) and it just says START DOWNLOAD and IT NEVER MOVES....
I have tried a factory reset... I have tried it all.. Nothing seems to work!

You might try adding an .apk to your SD card and seeing if it will install. Grab it online from a developer or from a back up on another device. Can you see all the files and play MP3's from your SD card? You do have your gmail account show up under Accounts and Sync, right? You might try an Amazon account and installing from that.

This question has been asked and answered many times. It is a known problem with tablets since the last update to the Android Market. The workaround is as follows:
Once you get the starting download message, if it doesn't go any further on its own, toggle wifi off and then on again. The download should commence immediately upon reacquiring the wifi signal. It works 100% of the time for me.

Not true, any Froyo (2.2) apps download fine, pretty sure apps below that do. It will only display apps that are compatible with your device.

Did any of you know that the ANDROID MARKET DOES NOT allow you to download apps if you have a version that is LESS that 2.3????

maybe FROYO allows it but Android Market doesnt.. i am able to download apps from GETJAR but not the Android Market ICON that CAME INSTALLED ON MY TABLET...
