Fools...dont restore your phones!!!
My phone is rooted and all the bloatware was removed and i still got updated.

Also what's this crazy talk about the original sd card? I switched from the awful Craft to this and had to swap out the original SD card in the Indulge for the expanded one i had in the Craft.

You impatient goons just haven't gotten the update. Metro just aint showin your areas as much love as mine and the rest.
 
removed all bloatware except studio and am rooted and have a different card and got the update the first night it came out in dallas fort worth area , so its not the card or bloatware try *228 and U WILL GET THE UPDATE

You may have to call it a few times for it to take sometimes it took me 3 calls b4 it went through, and just to let u knw if ur trying to get the update by doing this it wont wrk.

When u call and she says, "tell me why ur calling" and she starts going through a list of options, u can just hit the number 5 on ur keypad. Then wait, u should hear a bunch of weird clicking/sounds, it will let u knw if it went through and to end the call and ur phone will reset itself. If it dnt go through end the call and try again, it may take a few times b4 going through.

Just to add.... the update is per phone number and in no specific order.

wrongo i deleted all metro apps besides the store. got update back when this topic had a wee couple posts. OAKLAND COUNTY MI. tho 4g is still way better/ consistent in the pontiac area.

Are you talking about getting the screen to come back on after it has locked and gone into standby? I haven't been sent the update yet, but on my Indulge, I have always been able to use the home keys to turn the screen back on.

that's exactly what i'm talking about, and it still doesn't work for me consistently.

Yes it doesn't work all the time and have to go back to the power button..I really like this feature and it annoys me when it doesn't work all the time.

Worked fine at first.

I wonder if it has anything to do with some power saving modes where it's locked after a certain time passes and not in standby mode any longer.

Aaaaah I don't know :confused:

PS: It always works when charging ...go figure .

do you have any apps installed that could affect? CPU TUNER or SETCPU i think is another one. Juice DEFENDER too. They are probably what effects your consistency since they switch profiles depending on battery charge and mode. (ie. on charge or off)
 
Please post anything you have noticed after getting your update eg: signal strength/reliability, battery charge/discharge time changes with 4G on, download speed changes. I think most of us here are interested in those key points regarding the update.

Don't have any of these but what you say makes sense...must be another app doing it and I have so many..lol

I will have to check eack each one when I get a chance.

I use CPUTuner and i notice that the less my battery is, the more likely i will have to use the power button to turn the screen on. Aside from that, the update seems to have given me better battery life but my s4g strength is still not that good. i only use it when i need it and know im in a good area.
 
i still haven't gotten this update what the hell? it's maybe because im never in 4g...smh i dont want my phone to die..

Nope ...no update for me either. I am in 248 area code Michigan. It's been what over a month since the " update " or it sure feels like it. Either way... I don't think I'll end up getting it.
 
Well folks! I have finally been updated! It happened about 5 minutes ago. I didn't even see it happen--just got the "enhancement completed" screen with the new version updates.
 
i got my phone 2 days ago and no update yet the *228 thing led me to an activation call wich i hung up because my phone is working fine so should i just sit and wait?
