I recently bought a Kyocera Hydro. It is my first smart phone. I am interested in learning more about how to utilize its potential. I know next to nothing about android and this looks like a great place to learn. Eventually I would like to try rooting it. But I have to learn quite a bit before I can even consider trying it.

D-U-R-X has created a Kyocera Hydo FAQ thread there and the sub-forum "All Things Root" will show you how to gain complete administrative control of your Hydro which will allow you to do some things the manufacturer probably rather you didn't do when you're ready.
