new to android forums

hello all!
hope everybody had a nice thanksgiving.

when verizon wireless released the droid last year i jumped on it. now it's getting a bit slooooooooow and old and tired, and i like the newer larger screens. i think i want the HTC Evo (i know -- i'd have to jump ship from VZW). it seems silly to stay in the "3G world" when the world is changing!

I'm interested in opinions, and i'm leaning more and more toward waiting another 6 months. (contract is up next october... hrmmm...)

Cost wise, it's safer to wait. Technology wise, new things get introduced daily and in 6 months the Evo may be old news....

...6 of one, half dozen of the other...

Regardless, there are some awesome android phones available and there will continue to be awesome android phones available in the future.


If you haven't already done it, you may want to look into rooting as a way to speed up your phone.

Welcome To the android forums glad to have you here.don't jump ship just because you see "4g" in the majority of places the big V's 3g is faster than someones so called "4g"
